As the March 31st deadline for Brexit approaches Thyme-IT continues to develop and test its new UK SAD Solution. This new module within the Thyme-IT C&E Solution allows traders to create UK import declarations and UK export declarations and submit these directly to UK Customs CHIEF system and receive all responses from CHIEF straight into the Thyme-IT system.
If rejection messages are received from CHIEF then corrections can be made within the Thyme-IT system and the SAD re-submitted to CHIEF.
This new module is fully integrated into the Thyme-IT C&E Solution, so now you can create UK SADs, Irish SADs, NCTS, EMCS, ICS & eManifest all within the same system.
If you export goods to the UK or import goods from the UK, it is likely you will have to submit customs declarations after the UK leave the European Union, which is planned for end of March 2019 unless a transition period is agreed.
For exports to the UK, the export SAD to Irish Revenue is created first, once Green routed we will use the same data to create an import SAD to UK Customs.
For imports from the UK, the export SAD to UK Customs is created first, once Green routed we will use the same data to create an import SAD to Revenue.
Thyme-IT specialise in the development and implementation of mission-critical Customs & Excise solutions based on the latest web-based and handheld technology. All Thyme-IT’s C&E solutions are compliant with Irish Revenue & HMRC requirements.
